Gift of Yourself
One of the greatest gifts that you can give to your future spouse is the gift of your purity. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if, on your wedding night, your husband/wife told you that you weren’t the first person he/she had ever had sex with? Wouldn’t it make you feel like he/she didn’t love you enough to wait? Would you be able to trust him/her to love you rightly, and to stay faithful to you?
On the other hand, can you imagine how beautiful it would be to be able to hear your future spouse tell you on your wedding night that he/she had saved the gift of their body just for you? Wouldn’t that make you feel like you were the most cherished person on earth? And wouldn’t you want to be able to give that gift to your husband/wife as well?
Your sexuality is a gift, something that is sacred and beautiful, unlike what culture tells us. It is not designed to be given just to anyone—or even to someone you love—except in marriage. But if you think about it, it is so amazing—that you can save a part of yourself just for your future husband/wife!! Your sexuality is something that you can preserve just for him/her, and hope that he/she will do the same.
If you save this most precious gift for your spouse, and ask that he/she do the same, you will be able to have a lasting, strong relationship once you are married. Check out this video by Jason Evert, about how it worked for him!
