Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and have trouble seeing the beauty that is within you? I know that I have that trouble. Sometimes I just look in the mirror and see that extra 5 pounds that I want to lose, or the muscle that is not there. It’s hard not to be hard on yourself—especially in the culture in which we live—where so much emphasis is put on the physical. I think sometimes He gives us challenges through our bodies so that we can learn to love them even more.

As you look at yourself, thank God for the creation that He has made you and pray that He will help you to love yourself as He does! ~Dearest God, I am beautiful in Your eyes, help me to see that beauty and to love myself as I should
